MacColl Center for Health Care Innovation

The MacColl Center for Health Care Innovation at the Group Health Research Institute is active in fostering practice transformation initiatives in small practices, organized systems, and via regional collaborations. Its research and quality improvement activities include emphases on the importance of team-based models of care, assisting transformation to a patient-centered medical home, and fostering care coordination for patients with complex care needs. The MacColl Center develops new models of health care, leads research on complex system change, and provides training, facilitation, and technical assistance in model application and care improvement.
 
The MacColl Center assisted Aligning Forces for Quality Alliances with quality improvement projects and sustainability efforts.
